As a social enterprise Design for Charity uses ICT tools to empower other organisations, so that they can embrace media as an enabler in the achieving their objectives. We create digital solutions to the life challenges in Africa. We use photography, graphic design and web design skills as tools of  empowering organisations as they  communicate what they do while bring about social change in the community.

We work with youth as change agents in their communities and also offer free technical support to religious orgnizations, NGOs, startup businesses in the areas of media and ICT. Social media is key in what we do as a driving force of addressing social injustices in the community.

Design for Charity recruits fresh university graduates from ICT and Art backgrounds as interns and gives them on job training skills so that they can work on real life digital solutions for non-profits and business startups.

The Interns market and interest potential clients, then they get to work with mentors on finding the relevant solutions for the clients. They  receive real work experience in website design and development, social media marketing and management, graphic designing and photography. Skills gained help them start their own ICT related ventures or get alternative work experiences after the 1 year contract ends. The best interns are retained by Design for Charity as full employees. Non-profits and business startups get professional work done for them that is appealing to their target audience at a relatively affordable price.

During our 6 years in this line of work, we have established a strong and loyal client base, so we base this rating on the experiences and comments they have advanced. This is simply because we stick to our promise and do what we do best.
